Knowledge Tribe is a community platform for young children with a thirst for knowledge who wish to intrigue their interest with relevant information.
Mrs.Prema Rajagopal, the visionary educator and founder Principal of Vidyaniketan Public School in Bengaluru, created India Insight in 2004.
Her passion and desire were to instill the spirit of India in children by raising awareness about our beautiful country's culture, heritage, and ethos. The quiz, aptly titled INDIA INSIGHT, was extended beyond QUIZ to DEBATE and DRAWING contests.
In 2021–22, Vidyaniketan Public School aspired to celebrate 75 years of India’s independence and the focus of the NEP 2020 to be India centric. Few events were held to celebrate India and learn about the country in order to raise awareness of the country's rich heritage and culture among schoolchildren.
Grey caps designed all the promotional campaigns for the events and promoted the same extensively on the social media and through its school engagement team to solicit participation for the events.
They also worked with its affiliates and promotional partners in countries outside India to attract participation for the events. There was be a specific focus on the middle east where the density of Indian schools is high. They worked with a creative team to create an introduction video featuring the school and also captured the messages of the school leadership to be aired during the events.
India Insight an international-level, inter-school contest comprised categories like DEBATE, DRAWING and QUIZ. This year the events were open for grades 5 - 12 under the Junior and Senior categories.
The quiz's main topic, India for junior and senior categories drew many enthusiastic participants from Vidyaniketan Public School.
Yashwin.S. from grade 11 and Prajwal Bhat from grade 10 participated in the debate. The discussion focused on India and I. With his exceptional performance, Yashwin.S made it to the semi-finals and proudly finished as a runner-up.
Isiri L. from grade 4 and Kavni A. Patel from grade 5 both participated in the drawing. India and I was the subject of the drawing. Kavni A Patel shared first place honours in the competition.
